It started on Beta4... if I edit a file, the category thumb is gone.

On Beta5, they vanished. The only thing I did differently than usual, was to run the tool to rebuild support topics. That's what I got now:

 

The image files exist and they are there on file view. Example:

hmm, maybe it's because of the cache. I have no images on both mobile and desktop.

But no, Im unable to replicate that one on this end. I have tried doing the 2 things you mentioned in your original post, to see if I can get them to break, but seems not. Please let us know if you manage to find a way to actively replicate the issue

This problem happened to me, I was able to determine the cause and I will create an error report

It happens on my site every time I upload a new version. Then I have to remove all screenshots, save, upload a new version to add the same screenshots. It works.

Yep, I've noticed the thumbnail issue on a few IC5 forums already, so it's definitely a bug that needs to be fixed.

I cannot reproduce this to save my life. Not with IN_DEV on or off, not with using topics (or not using topics). Not with edit or upload new version. Nothing. Nada.

If we knew the answer to that question, we would be able to reproduce it

For me it doesn't happen when uploading a new version, it only happens when modifying the file, and it happens with some files when rebuilding topics

In this case I suggest trying an upgraded version of version 4, although this is already happening with a new installation

Getting closer. Does this issue happen if the upload field is empty? What about if it's populated?
