Restore an Admin's Deleted Posts (over a decade's worth)?

A user who was an admin for a time and still had admin rights deleted their posts - not out of spite, just wanted to fade away.  The problem that they didn't consider when they hit the "delete my content" button is that they had started a number of topics over the years that were popular and evergreen.  They didn't mean to nuke the board, and it took a day for me to realize what had happened.  In the Moderator or Admin CP's, no deleted post show up.

I suppose I could restore the complete database from three days ago, but is there anyway to be more surgical with my recovery or will I simply lose 3 days worth?  

It's a small board, with not a whole lot of members, but the amount of posts deleted is massive.
