Perfect, I will have the owner try to post there.

Do another test: Have him share photos with you at your email address - and see if you receive them as portrait or rotated.

Thanks, he got a size limit when he tried to post the photo. I have a little more into today.

He always takes photos up and down, portrait.

The images are large.

He cropped one today that was not working and it worked.

I’m not sure what that says?

If it works here and doesn't on your community, it goes back to something with the server setup, I'm afraid.

Sorry to confuse you. He can’t upload to your test forum because he gets a file upload size error. So I can’t confirm it works here.

Ask him for a photo that he uploads rotated, to try this advice I gave you, and then to upload it to your site.

I don’t have an Android device. The photo looks fine on his phone. It gets rotated when uploaded to the site, even in thumbnail preview. Tried both GD and Imagemagick, same results.

I wrote to you above, ask him to share a picture with you on your email. You will see how it looks 1:1

Try it and upload it to the forum where he does the test.

PS.Ask him to upload the same photo from his phone after you upload it.

@Marc @Jim M I migrated the site to a brand new OS with all new packages installed, the latest or very near versions of the latest software such as PHP, MariaDB, and so on. The problem still persists. How can the site owner to tests uploads here on your community site? He posted on the test forum that you suggested but got a response that the file size is too big (forget the exact message).

The limit should be over 10MB, which most mobile photos are. The Max total size should be represented in the upload area.

@Jim M This is the error he is getting when he tries to post to Invisioncommunity's test forum. I really want to try to reproduce on your site.

I would need their display name to review. If they have already uploaded files, it could be that they have reached the limit.
