Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
npnchicago Posted July 15 Posted July 15 I set up a coupon code for a specific event. When a member tries to use it, the member receives the message "You cannot use that coupon for this purchase". You can try it in our development site - https://stage.npnparents.org/events/event/66-test-the-ultimate-baby-shower-general-admission-tickets/ . Try using code "ddrf2024"; it is valid for groups "Parent, Trial, Trial Expired". The discount is for the whole amount. Please advise. I specified the event in the coupon code panel.
Marc Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Event tickets are not a part of the core platform. Looks like you are using a 3rd party application for this
npnchicago Posted July 16 Author Posted July 16 (edited) Yes, we do use a 3rd application to handle the prices of the tickets. However, shouldn't the checkout page recognize the coupon code for the specific event? If I remove the specific event from the coupon code, the discount is applied on the checkout page. Jim M Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Anything which is implemented by a third party application would need to be supported by that third party application to work. This is not a native feature so it is outside our scope of support.
npnchicago Posted July 16 Author Posted July 16 Oh, I should have disabled the 3rd party app to verify that the event coupon feature is part of the app. Sorry! Thank you for your time.
Marc Posted July 17 Posted July 17 No problem. Hope you manage to get the issue resolved with the developer
