Grey Star meaning before a topic header

When looking at the list of topics in a forum some topics have this grey star, its seems to indicate those where I have posted a reply.

The other icons have a hover over feature that displays when they mean (eg. Featured), should the grey star do the same?

Yes, but should it have the pop up text like the other icons do?

It never has. You're more than welcome to suggest that though in our Feedback forum.
