Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted February 17, 20241 yr Hi, In the system settings --> Data layer --> I checked the option Members can opt out of exposing their own PII But I did some testing and I don't see the option that allows members to activate or deactivate it. Is there something I missed? Sincerely, Pascal.
February 18, 20241 yr Community Expert Is the data layer feature enabled? If so, they will see this in their account settings.
February 18, 20241 yr Author yes I have activated the data layer. I created a Test account to check and I don't see it in the Member Settings. On the other hand, there is the action in the admin on the member's page in account actions.

If so, I would need the example member to check on your site
February 19, 20241 yr Author The test member is Colombe, I didn't see anything in the security section. Thanks in advance.
February 19, 20241 yr Community Expert We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
February 19, 20241 yr Community Expert Could I clarify here, have you got the member to check this? I ask as without their password you cannot get into that section of their account. Please ask them to screenshot what they see
February 19, 20241 yr Author Here is a screenshot: I can give you the password by PM if you want because it's only a test account.
