The core_groups table would house this information about the formatting prefix and suffix. I'm afraid, we do not provide information on how to do manual queries. Please be sure to take a backup prior to attempting anything manual in the database.

 

group id 30 has "NULL" on some tables , while others dont. while im trying to do it similar i get the following error:

You should be looking only at the 2 columns named "suffix" and "prefix"

So to clarify here, you are looking for anything in those columns that may be redirecting you.

Nothing obvious in there, unfortunately. I would suggest contacting your hosting company at this point, to see if they can see what is being redirected there, if you are seeing redirects. It may well be something on the server setup side.
