Posted October 3, 20231 yr I need to try a fresh install, to see if an app works in my environment without any other plugins or applications installed. However, I have an active dev site which is in use by another dev. Would it be possible to briefly use a test.mydomain instead of the dev.mydomain and then switch back once I have completed my tests.

October 3, 20231 yr You could use a local install, do an internet search on WampServer. Quote What is WampServer used for? WampServer is a Windows web development environment. It allows you to create web applications with Apache2, PHP and a MySQL database. Alongside, PhpMyAdmin allows you to manage easily your databases.
October 3, 20231 yr Author @Marc Stridgen: Could I please request that IPS update my sites live url to include HTTPS instead of http://. 🙂 You could use a local install, do an internet search on WampServer. I actually thought of this after and the results are the same as my live and dev site. Which is odd. I'll just report back to the dev. Thank you.
