Is there a way to activate the forum's "under construction" mode for a few hours?
We needed to rearrange the categories and subcategories and we didn't want the user to see this happening live.

There is an Offline mode you can set and add a message to display on the screen.  It will also allow you as an Admin to log in and see the site as it normally would be seen while others see the Offline message.

System >> Settings >> General Configuration

You'll see a toggle for Site Online.
