I could not find a topic on this, hope it's ok to post here.

In the topic list we get a preview text with every topic, this is a preview of the first post.

Is it possible to show the last post in the topic?
Via a setting i overlooked or a plugin?

Hi, i'm talking about the list view.

We have long running topics and its always the same text, if this would be the last post i could glance over the complete list of new posts. Now i have to hover over the title to get the first post preview again (same as the list), and then click to see the last post.
It would be so much better if the list-view would show a preview of the last post.

Can i remove the preview text to save space?

It’s a user choice:

The feature to see the latest activity is the Activity Feed section. Browsing individual forums is not a good way to do that. What good is seeing the latest post, if there are 10 other unread posts you don’t see? Or what good is seeing the latest reply, when you don’t know the first post and therefore what the topic is even about?

There isnt a way in which to do it within a forum. If you have it showing as a preview it will indeed show a preview of the first post. As mentioned above, you would be best to use a stream for what you are looking to do there. You can see a guide on how to uses these here

The Activity Feed is indeed the way to go, thank you. The subsections are lost but it's nice to view new content. Thank you.
