Name 2 Avatars (Support Topic)

Hi @CodingJungle

I have just update my Names 2 Avatars 5.0.1 and I got this message every time try to enter the app on member profile (tried with different accounts (member, admin, moderators) all same)

Am I missing something????

found the issue, update pending review. 

After uploading the new version 5.0.2, All GOOD...

Updated to the latest IPS.  Updated all of the plugins.  This one was the only one that still will not update.

When I click "Update Available" it takes me to the install page where I press "Install". Then it starts to install and gives me the attached error message.

Any thoughts?

its a pretty generic error thrown by ips Multiple redirect, there should be more information to it in the system log.

sorry for the delay, my minion seems to have skipped out on me. 

I've been in the hospital for the last month and just got released last week.

I installed the app to 4.6 and it seems to be working with 4.6 without any issue, i'll double check and do a version bump as a maintenance release.

    okay i'll test it out, i'm currently only on 8.0, but i think this is an error that 8.0 would throw too.

    @media you can fix this temporarily by going to the settings and disabling "only 2 names" on the font tab. i will push an update, but can't speak for how long it will take to update.

    you must have a setting enabled i didn't when testing, but the error is the same method, in the same area, so it the new version i release should fix it. i pushed the update here already, so i'm not sure when it will be available, i also release it on my site, but i don't recall where you purchased it from.

    Ok as right now installed updates Names 2 Avatars 5.0.5

    Upgraded IPB 4.7.2 and I have Names 2 Avatars 5.0.5 installed and I get this error message  

    A class in an app extends the class \IPS\n2a\Singleton for which no file /home/media/public_html/forum/applications/n2a/sources/Singleton/Singleton.php exists! The method scanner skipped comparing that file to any of its subclasses
