Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Sai5i Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 Hello Guys, I just renewed my license and try to auto upgrade from v4.1.19.3 to latest version. And i got this error after it extracted latest version files and redirected to next step. Now i have lost access to my front-end and back-end. Same error on both side. I created a ticket for official support but don't know how long it will take for a reply. Any suggestion how to get rid of this error and get back my site online? Or is there anyway to get older version files. v4.1.19.3 .. And replace them back. I'm looking into client area and can't see any option to get older release.
tomwin Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 (edited) Maybe wrong PHP version, check if you have PHP 7 Edited May 9, 2020 by Diyhrt
Daniel F Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 Either your templates or a 3rd part plugin are outdated. Ill take a look at the ticket ASAP 🙂 Sai5i 1
Stuart Silvester Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 You will need to upgrade manually from such an old version by downloading the files from the client area and uploading them to your server. Daniel F and Sai5i 2
VaBeach_Guy Posted May 22, 2020 Posted May 22, 2020 I just got the same error after trying to upgrade an old board (version 4.something), and submitted a ticket. I'll try the above mentioned solution and see how that goes.
