Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
SJ77 Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Is there a way to make a file in downloads app no longer available for sale but keep it as available for someone who already purchased it? i want those who already paid to be able to download it and see it in their purchase history but want to block any new sales help? Thank you 😊 @Makoto do you know?
Makoto Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Might have to ask Daniel about that. This is done to some apps, but it's not generally a voluntary thing. E-mail contributors@invisionpower.com or create a support ticket to contact him.
Adriano Faria Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Use the moderator permission Disable Purchases.
Makoto Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Oh you meant on your community, lol. Thought you meant on the marketplace. Then yeah, what @Adriano Faria described.
SJ77 Posted April 4, 2019 Author Posted April 4, 2019 I don't see disable purchase and I am logged in as an admin
Adriano Faria Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 If you are a MODERATOR (not an Admin) with that permission, you will see. Make sure your group is unrestricted moderator.Â

SJ77 Posted April 4, 2019 Author Posted April 4, 2019 Thats weird, wonder why an admin can't do it? Edit: I made it my secondary group and I still don't see it Â
Adriano Faria Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Because public side actions are handled by MODERATOR permissions. Admin executes actions on ACP! You can be an admin and NOT be a moderator or even be a restricted moderator. Again, make sure you are a unrestricted moderator. If you are, I suggest to disable that app that changes everything in Downloads. Probably it changed the menu and didn’t updated it to add this new feature. Add to the end of file URL: do=purchaseStatus&value=0 If it runs fine, then your menu is outdated. So it can be that app or your theme. If you got an error, you are a restricted moderator.Â
SJ77 Posted April 4, 2019 Author Posted April 4, 2019 I might have to submit a ticket, it's just plain missing. Glad to know it's an option though. I really need it I am still using 4.3.6.. Maybe this is a new feature?
Adriano Faria Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Did you try? 8 minutes ago, Adriano Faria said: Add to the end of file URL: do=purchaseStatus&value=0 If it runs fine, then your menu is outdated. The page refreshed and then a small popup said "saved" then faded away. Still is available for sale. I even used the csrf key in my url
SJ77 Posted April 4, 2019 Author Posted April 4, 2019 I refreshed my theme using the support tool and now it's working. Thanks Adriano!!
