Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted April 3, 20196 yr Is there a way to make a file in downloads app no longer available for sale but keep it as available for someone who already purchased it? i want those who already paid to be able to download it and see it in their purchase history but want to block any new sales help? Thank you 😊 @Makoto do you know?
April 3, 20196 yr Might have to ask Daniel about that. This is done to some apps, but it's not generally a voluntary thing. E-mail contributors@invisionpower.com or create a support ticket to contact him.
April 4, 20196 yr Oh you meant on your community, lol. Thought you meant on the marketplace. Then yeah, what @Adriano Faria described.

April 4, 20196 yr Author Thats weird, wonder why an admin can't do it? Edit: I made it my secondary group and I still don't see it
April 4, 20196 yr Community Expert Because public side actions are handled by MODERATOR permissions. Admin executes actions on ACP! You can be an admin and NOT be a moderator or even be a restricted moderator. Again, make sure you are a unrestricted moderator. If you are, I suggest to disable that app that changes everything in Downloads. Probably it changed the menu and didn’t updated it to add this new feature. Add to the end of file URL: do=purchaseStatus&value=0 If it runs fine, then your menu is outdated. So it can be that app or your theme. If you got an error, you are a restricted moderator.
April 4, 20196 yr Author I might have to submit a ticket, it's just plain missing. Glad to know it's an option though. I really need it I am still using 4.3.6.. Maybe this is a new feature?
April 4, 20196 yr Community Expert Did you try? Add to the end of file URL: do=purchaseStatus&value=0 If it runs fine, then your menu is outdated. So it can be that app or your theme. If you got an error, you are a restricted moderator. It’s there for one year.
April 4, 20196 yr Author Did you try? It’s there for one year. I managed to try the manual you suggested. The page refreshed and then a small popup said "saved" then faded away. Still is available for sale. I even used the csrf key in my url
April 4, 20196 yr Author I refreshed my theme using the support tool and now it's working. Thanks Adriano!!
