Is it possible to add Pages database name to the search dropdown tab for searching only in that database name?

If so how do I do it.

It’s automatic. You don’t have to do anything.
I think the language string used is the plural database entry word set in the database settings.

I made two new databases, both has the allow searching option to yes, permission set correctly, but the database name does not show up in the drop down.

I don't understand correctly, can you explain a bit more?

What’s your site URL?

My site is not live yet I'm still developing on MAMP.

The name of the database doesn't appear but the name you give to its records does. If you have a database called News and the individual records are called Articles, then the search dropdown will have Articles in it. You can see it on this site where Articles looks in the News database, Releases looks in the Release Notes database, etc.

I change all the default names in database settings-language, the name now shows in the search drop down.

Thanks all.
