Way to Allow Article Sorting by Author or show on profile??

Hi! I'm making a site that's going to have a system where members will be making articles and as such, we're going to get quite a bit of them! Is there any possible way to have the articles they've authored displayed on their profiles or have a tab in the articles page to sort by author?

Will these user articles be arranged and sorted into website categories? 

Will you allow all users to write articles, or only certain users? 

Depending upon your needs, you either want Pages (maybe with Pages authors by @Fosters) or Blogs.  

The only in-built display of users content is to click on their content

Not sure you can easily sort Pages databases by author. Centering articles around a certain author is what the blog app does.
