Josiah Wallingford Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I don't fully understand pages and databases, and the documentation just isn't doing it for me. Does anybody know of a good video tutorial that shows the power of pages and databases and ways I can use them? I feel like I am missing out on some big possibilities.
Joel R Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 Database = repository of records (articles, entries, terms, etc). A database needs to be displayed on a page. Page = a standalone page where you can add blocks and databases. Ask @opentype for his examples. He prob has the best real world use cases of IP.Pages.
opentype Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 You can browse the sites in my signature to see Pages in lots of different uses. I am not aware of any video tutorial and I think the Help Guides section explains it very well. So I wouldn’t know what to add. Maybe you can tell us what specifically you don’t get so we can help easier.
