Commerce - renewals

Hi

Just started using Commerce. We're setting up purchases of extended access to forums. Creating a product which put people into proper group with correct permissions and are valid for a year. Afterwards they are supposed to go back to previous group if not renewing. Some questions:

  1. Is everything concerning renewing handled automatically?
  2. Will they receive an email X days before expiry? Both those who said renew automatically and not?
  3. Will the system move them back to previous group automatically after grace period if invoice is not paid?
  4. If the system set up a recurring payment in Paypal, will Paypal notify the system of the actual renewals?
  5. Is it possible to set up reports of upcoming renewals?

I've just started using commerce too for the same purpose but it seems to i have to set the expiry date manually for each purchase otherwise it doesn't expire

I've tested with a live Paypal, and I do see the billing agreement correctly. Although I have to go to Customer, and then click on Manage Billing Agreements. These agreements should have been a menu item, though, and reportable. The date is correct for me. Paypal worked and the recurring stuff has been set up, but the payment is still "pending". Seems like paypal did not notify correctly about success (have a support ticket for this)

Just a followup question; I have a product A for 100 dollar, with a renewal price of 250 dollar. If they choose to pay manually, there is no billing agreement created. Will they still get email to renew their purchase after a year? And for what amount? 100 or 250?

Of course.
