~Me Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 (Just a disclaimer - I'm not much good with technology, so if things are obvious, I apologise in advance) I have an idea of how I want my forums to look, but I can't figure out a way to do it. I'd really like to be able to have the "Critiques" forum on its own page, without showing up in the main stream on the front page, and I'd like to know how to do that for other things in future. Is there a way I can do that? I figured out how to get that tab up there, but when I click it, it does nothing. I need it to lead to a new page that contains ONLY the "Critiques" section, none of the others. Thanks!
Meddysong Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 You've got the menu item up there, so you've done half the job. All you need to do now is assign an address to it. First step: Get the address of your Critiques section by clicking on it. If you were doing it for the Community Led Resources section here, the address would be https://invisionpower.com/forums/forum/307-community-led-resources/. You're looking for something similar. Copy it from your browser address bar. Second step: In the Menu Manager, click on the Critiques item which you've already created. From the selection which appears on the right, select External Link and paste the address into the field URL. Hit Save Menu Item and you're done.
~Me Posted October 23, 2016 Author Posted October 23, 2016 Thank you! That made it simple. My other question, linked to that, is: is there a way to now remove the critiques section from the main page so you ONLY see it when you click the tab in the menu?

A forum has to be in the forum listing to have it be visible and accessible.
