<CR> after quote?

This might sound silly, and maybe I'm missing something easy. On my own board (new install) when I quote a message, my cursor starts immediately under the quote box, which means when I type it ends up being too close, squashed up.

On here, it starts a line below that, if you know what I mean. I know I can hit the Enter key, but my members aren't doing it and it looks messy.

I tried to replicate it here, but won't do it, always puts a line space in...

I think the cause of this is because you have ACP -> Customization -> Editor -> Settings -> "Return Key Behaviour" set to "Go to next line"

This is the same reaction here on IPS actually.

Hit your enter key and it will drop it another line.

That is EXACTLY what was causing it, such a simple thing, but so annoying... Many thanks...

That setting changes all behavior to double space. You may want to use padding, or maybe you are happy with the double spacing now.
