have you already tried mysql 5.7 on ipb3.4?

I'm wondering if it's already worth to upgrade from percona 5.6?

You should try MariaDB 10.1.x :)

I did the optimization for MariaDB 10 already using InnoDB. When I upgrade to 10.1 will I have to optimize to config file again?

You will not need any adjustments but it will be good to do a few checks after the upgrade just to be sure for any small adjustments that may need :)

Will MariaDB yield performance gains on servers dedicated to hosting an IPS4 community, or are there caveats? Does it depend on the server, number of concurrent users, post throughput, etc.?

  • MDEV-10325: Queries examines all rows of a tables when it should not

We are now good again to update our MariaDB to version 10.1.16 without any problems.
