3.4.7 => RC5 upgrade: no images in posts

Is it a bug or did I do something wrong?

when updating from 3.4.7 to RC5 attached images in posts are lost. The post shows "[attachment=17:image.jpg]"

 

When you enter the Admin Panel are the rebuild tools running ? (you'll see progress bars, you cannot miss them)

the rebuid tools are complete.

 

Did you copy over the image folders?  Hopefully you saved the old site before upgrading, make sure you restore the old image folders.

I have had the same issue, image sometimes showing as the attachment tag other times nothing at all. Also if  you go to the post editor you will see the attachments but nothing in the posts.

yes, copied the uploads and screenshots folder. is this the image folder?

Fortunately I made a copy of the folders and database.
