Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 5, 201212 yr Thought I would share that this issue surfaced and this fix works for members who have this problem (link removed owing to concern raised: see below). The User Bar's Notification section required all Notifications to be manually deleted in order to function once more with the update from 3.2 to 3.3. Not sure if this is noted for the next update, but felt it was important to share.
November 5, 201212 yr I have reported the post above to the staff here, but just in case anyone else stumbles across this before it is dealt with, you should know that that site is a warez site. They don't deserve to have traffic sent there from this site.
November 5, 201212 yr was just about to do same The latest nulled and retail versions of Invision Power Board 3.3.x are released here! All products from IPS compatible with IPB 3.3 can be found and released here.
November 5, 201212 yr Author I apologise, my intent was not to highlight a Warez site, but to share a solution to a problem that was affecting our own community and this solution solved the issue. I have removed the link and hope that the solution, nonetheless, will be of use.
November 5, 201212 yr This is also in the wrong forum. If you think you have found a bug within IP.Board I recommend that you post it to our bug tracker. Our developers will then investigate the issue, and if it isn't a bug, you'll be advised to submit a support ticket, where one of our technicians will look into the issue for you, so you shouldn't need to go to sites like the one which was linked, really. However, if you prefer forum support, we also have the IP.Board Technical Support forum, which is full of people ready and willing to help you out, too.
