Wouldn't it be nice if we had vBulletin type groups for IPB?
For example, I want to create a "Croatian IPB fans" group and invite people join it. If I'm not mistaken, IPB doesn't have anything like that nor am I aware of mods supporting this?

You mean the ability to add "Group Leaders" to groups? :)

Defenitly a nice idea, Would be handy for deligation of small forums without giving someone Administrator privelages.

^^No, but to simply have an option to create a community group like "Fishermans" or ... "F1 fans" or whatever and invite people to join that specific group.

I think that can be done and i will be trailing it soon, but with nexus you can create groups / upgrades / downgrades so if that is right you can have a person select an upgrade for example (make them $0) and once selected it would add them to a user group this would in effect create what you wanted and would allow for the email option to select that group as well.

^^I don't think having to buy an additional application (IP.Nexus) in order to have that is a solution. It's like having to buy, erm, IP.Blog in order to have status updates.
