hello
my host has suspended my website , they are talking about load

and they send me this log

if someone know what this log means to solv this problem

Sounds like they are complaining about the bandwidth you are using




I think by load they are talking about 'unix load', i.e. the amount of CPU time being consumed. Looks like IPB is causing the problem, but I'm not sure what kind of load limits they impose.

I have noticed that certain operations cause high load on my board too and plan to investigate further when I get the time.

How large of a forum do you have? (aprox active members / how many users active at one time)

What type of hosting plan are you on? (How much do you pay per month for the hosting)

That output looks to be from running the 'ps' command on Linux/Unix. From looking at the output, it also looks like they're running PHP through CGI, which would be rather concerning.

If they're being particularly fussy, I'd consider just getting a new web host. :)

Yes, that is from a ps command, so they are likely conecented about processer use as you suggest.

Have you tired the server optiomizing settings in the system settings?
