When version 3.0.1 will be issued?

Featured Replies

3.0.1 is looking to be a nice update. Most of the complaints from my members were addressed in 3.0.1. Great job IPS.

Sure, my members were furious with the update and the majority complained about the "view new content" feature. They wanted the old style back, and IPS has added this back. In addition, they wanted more information with the "view new content" such as who created the thread and which forum it was created in. This appears to be back as well. This is just off the top of my head. I am not sure if they will put the "back to top" link where is used to be, but my members also complained about this too. Of course I am not happy about all of the changes or customer support, but at least for me, this update will make a lot of my members happy.

Thanks for your promptly reply. bobage24

Glad I could help. How do your members like 3.0?

any particular reason of why "back to top" is gone?

Version 3.0.1 won't be out Monday so don't wait up :)

It should be out this week. We usually do releases on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Never Friday or Monday as it's the end / start of work week.

It finally made it to the top.

:D

There's an article on the resource site for adding it back in. I'd like to see it added back in by default (maybe 3.0.2?).

Shhh.. Don't look in the client center. ;) Also, if you do, do NOT tell anyone what you find there.

We have no intentions of adding it back in by default I'm afraid.

Is it really that hard to drag and drop the scroll bar to the top or press the Home button on your keyboard?

Maybe because this place is for post_alert buttons ...

What about top right of the post near the post number?

Am I the only one who's getting the pagination of this topic backwards on topic view?

Is it because of the browser of the person who created the thread?

No, it's the same for me too.

There code <h3> </ h3>, which includes an user name, an ip address and a post number. If there is a push button, will greatly complicate the code. Or need move the button from the bottom with parameters 'position: absolute'.
This is too difficult.

I believe he is referring to:

It's this topic, if you look at the URL there is some unicode after the word issued to display that symbol, thats probably what is causing it.
