Very Bad Random Downtime?

My server had been up and running for months. (shared hosting)

The DNS settings are correct.

It's not web browsers or ISPs.

I don't know what to do. My co-admin can hardly come online to the forum and there are no errors. It's as if the site and domain (animegerad.com) does not exist (not a blank page, but one when you mis-type a domain or one that was not thought of yet).

Please help. It's been effecting some people but not others. I only saw it happen once.

"One or more of the nameservers listed at the parent servers are not listed as NS records at your nameservers."

"Although you have at least 2 NS records, they both point to the same server, resulting in a single point of failure."

"Your SOA (Start of Authority) record states that your master (primary) name server is: ns598.hostgator.com.. However, that server is not listed at the parent servers as one of your NS records! This is legal, but you should be sure that you know what you are doing."

"Your SOA REFRESH interval is : 86400 seconds. This seems high."

"Your SOA EXPIRE time is : 3600000 seconds. This seems a bit high."

I got that from DNSStuff.com...I doubt that has anything to do with it...?

Yes, probably has everything to do with it. I'd contact your host and tell them there are DNS issues (and your reports from DNSStuff.com)

Host says they fixed the errors. I hope it's fixed...

Ask the guy that had issues previously in a day or two to test again (DNS can take up to 48 hours to propogate, so give it a few days).
