You would need to contact piracy@invisionpower.com to have this issue appropriately handled.
January 9, 200718 yr Actually, it's probably nothing to do with invision... probably better to contact the person/forum in questions webhost or admin if it was only one of the 'cronies'...
January 9, 200718 yr The forum owner/ his "cronies". Thanks for the help.Well if its the forum owners, then IPS can't do anything because they don't run the forums, if they are abusing the software then you can get them involved.
January 9, 200718 yr Management abuse@invisionpower.com does not exist. You would need to contact piracy@invisionpower.com to have this issue appropriately handled.Abuse@ does exist - I check it myself quite often. Please don't send these types of complaints to abuse or piracy, however, as we have no control (or interest in controlling) what people use our software for... unless we host them AND they are engaging in illegal activity. Otherwise, we don't get involved in civil issues... similar to how Microsoft has no control over people sending hate mail using Outlook Express.

Any domain that does not host an abuse mailbox, alias, or list, is violating the RFC (and yes, some RBLs then block them). However, abuse@wherever is usually dedicated specifically to when a user of that domain's network is engaging in abusive, illegal, or spammy activities. (So yes, abuse@invisionpower.com would exist - however it is most certainly not where ANY IPB related problems should go).
