Core or plugin? The ability to bring a person or a group's notifications to the absolute lowest with one click. I get members who say: I want zero notifications, nada, niente, zip, zippo. As a moderator I wish there was a single click that would zero out that person (or group's, but especially person's) notifications.

Most of our user base browse our forum in dark recording studios and complain about the bright website, being used to dark mode. I wish Invision would add a Dark mode option. I know there are workarounds, and I know about the Dark Mode 3rd party plug-in but it's got its own issues, so I would favor a built-in user setting in the core software.

There used to be this app that is no longer supported: Will it be possible in the future to add tags to topics such as "publication|" "Question" and so'?

The new Downloads feature to display files as a grid in category view has no effect in phones, at least so these buttons could be displayed only for desktop and tablets devices.

I think it would be good if more Moderation tools could be made available in member profiles, e.g. the ability to place or remove a user from Moderation Queue or to send an alert to a user etc. Case in point: At the moment to remove a user from moderator queue, Moderators have to click on their their own name > ModeratorCP > Member Management > Type user they wish to edit > Click Next > Click Moderation > Select Remove from Moderation Queue? > Click Save This is far too click heavy and is buried too deep in the ModeratorCP. Some of our Moderators were unaware of this and perhaps most importantly, they're not all tech savvy. As such, having t…

When editing in Russian, when clicking on the topic name, the length of the title is calculated incorrectly and an error appears. When you click "Edit" everything is processed correctly. I have already made a complaint about this, but the bug is still not fixed.

When you promote an article you get to pick an image, great. However, that image gets resized into that narrow band. Imagine it’s a headshot, the image in picks on the homepage ends up being focused on nose and mouth. I have lots of noses and lips on my picks widget; I would prefer to have eyes. In short, it would be important to have the ability to reposition the image (or change the ratio, though I prefer the repositioning option)

So one thing I found that I need is not exactly possible at the moment. Date and Time formatting in templates. Right now you are forced into the relative time with the date growing as the age grows I need to be able to format a template to have MM/DD/YYYY and no time but currently I can only have things like "Yesterday" or "23 February". It would be nice to be able to format my dates again. I think that there are possibly 2 ways to go about this. One would be to create separate template classes for it and allow us to format it in a setting (date, datetime, relative, shortdate etc) or give us the option to format it in the template bit itself like this: {date…

Hi everyone, Its not an suggestion for our forums but for Help& Support forum here... Sometimes its quite difficult to explain something and as most of us prefer to see the issue( and not only...) it will be nice if Invision could increase they upload size...After removing support option form the licence and increasing prices it will be nice to spare extra few MB for us to upload extra images and maybe a a screen recording for another members to understand our issue better?? Thanks.

Reference this post: When importing an RSS feed that has images and selecting a Pages Database as the destination (which has a record image field), the record image field doesn’t get set. Therefore, please could you add an additional option near to the image handling choice on step 3 of the wizard: so that the resulting article in the Pages Database will use the first image from the imported RSS entry as the record image? An option to set a fallback image would be equally useful.

My community has been asking for a means to toggle/collapse widgets, in the same way you can for forum lists. Is there a way you can do this already, or is it something that IPS needs to add to the system? I noticed an old plugin on the Marketplace that seemed to accomplish this: But it doesn't seem to be downloadable anymore, or compatible with the latest version.

Hello, I believe commerce in certain communities could be significantly improved with the following: Products and subscriptions should be purchasable as a gift to other members. Example 1: I want to gift 5 subscriptions to different random community members. Example 2: I want to gift a shirt purchase to one specific community member Subscriptions should have options for renewal periods that the customer can pick, along with optional discounts that admins can set. Example 1: The default subscription state is $5/month, but I'd rather pay the whole yearly fee at once, at $60. Example 2: As an admin I want to give a …

Would be nice to be able to convert a Forum topic to an Event and have the topic OP become an editable Event, and all the replies become the comments. This would help maintain the history and context of the event discussion and then elevate it to an actual calendar event with dates/times, RSVP, etc.

Streams are great addition for users who want to have a control of what is happening around community, however, they provide sort of misleading info and cause sort of "mess" in certain situations. Lets say I edited a post, or need to update number of posts/topics/records.. anything.. e.g. during maintenance, some changes etc. What users get in their stream feed then? They get updated topics/records as newly posted content.. at least in the stream info. I find it as stream design issue because provides misleading info. There is few ways you can sort it. E.g. Change text from "xxx posted a topic" to xxx modified/updated the topic", or/additionally add a filte…

Good day folks, I know in the past, we've tossed around the idea of a wiki included in core software. And it gains speed and drops off for various reasons. But I sure would like to see a wiki somehow. I have an idea, I have been using wiki software for years, Mediawiki, Dokuwiki, TikiWiki are the main three. I have a wiki built off the Tikiwiki software and it's wonderful, but not user friendly. I have tested Mediawiki to great extent, and it's more streamlined that Tikiwiki, and the user interface is now much more friendly, specially since they added WYSIWYG for the less brave of users, eliminating the need for using wiki syntax made Wikipedia and all it's sister si…

Hi Guys, I have set up donations but there seems to be no way to show to other forum members who has made a donation, I think this would be a good idea and encourage others to donate? What are your thoughts guys or do you think people who donate would prefer to stay ananomous?

It would be great if a future update allowed for the syncing of Reactions made between a Topic in the forums and a linked CMS/Page Record. At the moment, when you link a Topic and CMS record together (either by making a CMS record and having a topic created, or by using "Copy to Database" on an existing forum topic), almost everything else is sync'd up. Tags, comments/replies... even the Reactions made towards those comments/replies! But for some reason, Reactions on the Topic's original post and the CMS Record remain completely separate. It's inconsistent. Changing this would go a long way to help integrate CMS and Topics - a lot of users on my community tend t…

Hi, As per title, sometimes we want to post several videos in one post. Doing that in, when the embed previous is so large as currently makes it look bad. It would be worth to allow to resize it, as as images.

Hello. So I know there is a plugin on the marketplace to enable Font Awesome 5 support. However when will IPS OFFICIALLY support FA 5 ? Font Awesome is moving to its 6th generation and IPS is currently on 4.7. It would make life easier for any of us using Font Awesome if IPS were to follow the latest stable versions :).

It would be good to be able to ignore all topics that share a particular tag. For example, imagine if there was a NSFW (Not safe for work) tag, and people would be able to ignore all topics that contain said tag somehow. In fact, I'm somewhat surprised such a feature does not exist even as a third party app.
