I may have found a bug in the Pages application. I had originally selected the "Post topic" check to post a topic when you added an article and selected a Forum to post to. Later I unchecked the box and had no issues with post of MOST articles. However, I never unselected the forum to post to. When I scheduled an article to be posted later in the day the article would post a topic on the forum. My workaround is to unselect the Forum to post to and the topic won't post to the forum. To reproduce the bug simply turn off "Post Topic" however select a forum to post to and schedule an article to be posted.

I'd like to restrict a particular admin from being able to access the "Log Out All Users" button, however it appears there is no built-in way to do this. I'd suggest adding this to the list of things we can restrict in a future version. 👍

I think it would be a good solution if the V5 version had URL Replacements built into the engine not with external plugins. Something like WoltLab Suite has. Please think about it, because a lot of forums are foreign and have diacritics in links.

To my knowledge, the reason not to delete topics is that other members have used their time and effort to respond. Thus topics with no response should automatically be deleted if a member decides to leave. At least an option to do so.

During upgrading can we please change the Username/Password fields (what ever mechanism) to allow use of 1Passowrd. Ideally add ability to sing in using Apple/FB/Google?

Please add group-based options to enable/disable pii data requests and account deletion requests so that these frontend options do not neccessarily show up for every user.

I have written a lot about this subject, incl. and i have a design to use the critical CSS to remove the Render-blocking CSS. Yes, it works, but it takes a lot of time to analyze and develop a good critical CSS. For a few days I've been exploring another idea that came to my mind. Code in IncludeCSS works perfectly and this code tells the browser - download all those CSS and use them to represent the site. But this code does not tell the browser when and how to use them. The idea I'm using right now is - I created a new template that I put before closing the tag head. In my experiment, this template looks like this: {template="preload_css" app="core" location…

Hi, When we move a topic, the following entry is created in the moderation history for that topic: modlog__action_move Moved a %s: <a href='%s'>%s</a> My suggestion is to add to this string the source and target forums. E.g.: Moved a %s: <a href='%s'>%s</a> from %s to %s Here in our daily operations, oftentimes we need this information, and it would be great if it were readily available. Thanks!

Hi, Is there a way to send automated PMs upon moderation actions (e.g., when a topic or post is hidden, deleted, moved etc)? I used to acomplish that with the Automation Rules plugins, but it is no longer supported, so I had to uninstall it. The current IPS version has the alert feature. However, our moderators need to manually fill out the required fields every time, which is time-consuming and really annoying. If there is no solution for that, could a member of the staff move this topic to the Feedback forum? Thanks. Thanks!

Hello, We got a feature suggestion regarding the google captcha, in one of our other posts we concluded that the login does not have a google captcha on it. However with the recent rise in spam accounts on our forum (which are most likely all hacked accounts). We wondered if there was a possibility you could add the google captcha on the login? Thanks in advance! Kind Regards, Thomas

Unless I'm missing it, there doesn't seem to be an option of any sort anywhere to have PII requests generate a notification to either the admins or the moderation staff. At the very least there should be a way to set it so that something shows up on the notifications icon on the main page. Probably optionally email someone as well, though I'd personally leave that one off.

I don't think it's a good idea to use the the members ID as the referrer and should be dynamically generated. it's too easy for actors to spoof this: domain.com/?&_rid=##### seeing a rise in people registering via a link without it being initiated from the member.

Any chance we could implement a word filter by user group? Mainly due to certain users being annoying and using the same word over and over, while others are not abusing it. Thanks

Hi Guys. I've tested a few different forum topics for mobile friendliness, and it turns out that many self-hosted forums don't meet the mobile-friendly requirements. It seems that Google is blocking many necessary resources (CSS Framework and JS Libraries) so such a topic is devoid of a stylesheet and does not meet the criteria for "Core Web Vitals" and has a low "Page Experience" value. If we look for an indexed topic and check its cache version, we'll see that it doesn't have a stylesheet. Not in all cases, but in many. I hope that v5 will be better optimized and will not load so much unnecessary code that the Googlebot is unable to handle. BTW…

Is there an easy way to let users export all posts of their blog, for example to move to another platform, print them or just have a personal backup? Easy way = not copy and paste or screenshots. 😉

Please can you the option to automatically reset recurring donation goals in Commerce, based on a selectable period? This way a goal such as donations towards site costs could reset back to 0.00 every month, year etc. Thank you.

Hi! It would be nice if the V5 version supported the graphic format - SVG everywhere. It's a vector format that looks good virtually anywhere and doesn't lose quality! Currently, it is missing from logos, custom forum icons, favicon and many other places. It's about handling .svg graphics as well as svg code.

The current watermark option is very basic and applies only to screenshot images, not the actual download. Here’s my thoughts/needs for Downloads watermark improvements: Apply watermarks to files not just screenshot images Enable/disable watermark per category Enable/disable watermark per file Embed watermark into PDF per category/file Force watermark yes/no Ability to generate a unique watermark per download, logged in AdminCP to aid future accountability/traceability, if required. Choice of text/unique random string/image watermark formats There is obviously no golden solution, but if you have say members only downloads (…

Hello, It could add to the system, a setting that forces users to change their email preventing access, when a certain address is added to the prohibition filter. I found some users with temporary email and added these addresses to the filter.

I hope this is an incomplete in-progress version, because it's lacking basic features that make it extremely inconvenient to use. The main issue is it's difficult to find and install plugins I've already purchased. Currently, I have to open Marketplace in the ACP, open a second browser window, go to the website Marketplace, look at my list of purchases, copy the name of the one I want to find, paste it into the ACP marketplace, then I can install. I can't even search for plugins from memory most of the time. The Marketplace in the ACP seems to only be capable of searching for exact terms. For example, if my plugin has "Forums" in the title, it won't come up if I sear…

Current host has InnoDB as the default engine which is great. However, I'm looking to switch to a different hosting company and their default is MyISAM, which causes issues. I see in the code that the supported engines are checked and the "default" one is chosen as the default to be used. However, the administrator of the community should be able to specify the preferred engine that gets used (if it's supported, of course). If it's not supported, then go with the server's default engine. $INFO['sql_engine'] = (MyISAM or InnoDB).

Invision Community already offers to highlight staff replies. Now what I would love to see in the software is an option (button) with a staff answer container that allowes the user to jump to (and go back to) the next staff answer, if there is any in the same topic. In addition to that a filter option to only show staff answers within a topic would be highly appreciated, too. Both features allow users to find somewhat "official" answers more easily, which can be key in a support-orientated community. And, of course, this does not neccessarily have to be limited to forums. It can also work in comments below blog articels, files, galery pictures and albums etc.

Seeing an error during the upgrade process can be frustrating enough. But not knowing what part of the process the upgrade is at makes it even more so. Therefore, when an error happens, the app and upgrade file in use when the error happened should be shown. Not only provides more information to the administrator performing the upgrade, but it's more information that can be provided when they are seeking assistance.

It would be very nice if we can have an option to Backup "Download" and "Reupload" everything in Pages database because right now "Records are not included.".
