When I directly embed video in my forum with an aspect ratio of 16×9 it displays just a little distorted. The aspect ratio is wrong. Not by a lot but enough to be odd. Everyone looks slightly taller and skinnier then they should :-) When I upload the same video to youtube and then embed the youtube link it looks right. Is this a setting I can tweak? Ideas? Hosted by IPS. Nothing custom.

@Fast Lane! Last time I looked at Google Ad systems I saw that more ads were blocked by browsers than with 3rd party banner tools or tools like the IPS system. For me every banner served is important.

@Jim M I know you are trying to be helpful. I hear you that it is 2 different methods. I still don't understand the value of the IPS number. Whatever but have a nice weekend.

@Jim M Are you telling me that the GA is significantly undercounting page views? Does it make sense to you that the difference between the two measurements could be a factor of 10? Does IPS provide total page views per month somewhere? The difference between the data sets is so large that I do not see how I can present the IPS banner views without looking like a liar.

@Jim M I sort of understand what you are saying... What the value if the IPS impressions data I can extrapolate the banner views from GA page views. Is that what you suggest I do?

I sell banners directly to my advertisers and use System >Site Promotion> Advertisements > Website advertisements. Looking closely at the data provided on the “Website advertisements” page the number of impressions per banner is impossible. Based on the number of banners in rotation and the number of page views I see in Google Analytics it looks like the banner impression number count data is off by more than a factor of 10. I do not see ( or can not find) total pages served in the IPS analytics. If my Google Analytics was for some reason under reporting it would be a happy problem but I doubt it. If the impressions data is off by a factor of 10 can I trust the clicks data? I need to get a client some data and at this point do not trust any of the numbers.

Thanks @Jim M I see a bunch of errors in the log that are way beyond me. I am going to turn off auto withdraw and defer to my dev.

I got Commerce Withdrawals linked with PayPal. Then a user who has earned the money goes into Account Credit and withdraws funds, PayPal successfully moved the funds from my account to his. That part all worked. Inside ACP - the transaction shows as “pending” almost a week after the user has been paid. I do not see a way to manually set the transition as complete. From the user account, the translation also shows as pending. The user has earned more money since the last withdrawal but the system shows his balance as zero.

I had Adriano build a custom app for sports coaching. The app uses Commerce to collect $ from students and pays out coaches for lessons – minus my fee. The system that Adriano built works great. If the business grows I am worried about the accounting. As it is I do not see an easy way to correlate a lesson, the student payment, the money owed to the coach, and if the coach has withdrawn payment for a specific lesson. Commerce works and I know the amounts credited to each coach are correct but my OCD wants a spreadsheet showing how the money moves around. Are there any tools any solutions for additional reporting for transactions and withdrawals?

Is there a default export to XLS or CSV for payments > transactions? If not is there a 3rd party tool out there?

Adriano built me a custom app for my IPS site. He read my specs and built me exactly what I needed. The finished product exceeded my expectations. I could not be more pleased.

@Marc Stridgen Can you confirm that PayPal allows this functionality? Are other IPS sites able to use withdrawals? Reading other threads it looks as if PayPal may have disabled this functionality.

Setting up an education app with Commerce that collects from students and pays out teachers for lessons. Payments for lessons work as expected. When I try to test withdrawals for the teachers I get the below message. A configuration or server error has occurred 1X200/1 Authorization error occurred. I have the same PayPal Client ID and Secret password for Withdrawals and Payments ACP > Commerce > Settings > PayPal
