[5.0] Downloads APP - fresh install - issue
Not a bug IPS. This is my bug, which I created back in 2012, long before I had an IPS installation. For some reason, then I created a folder with "files" name in the root directory... Which I haven't used for a long time and I forgot about it... Now with the installation of Download - the link tries to load my made-up directory, not the APP.. Ha ha - I removed this directory and everything is OK. Close this report please. Thanks.

[5.0] Downloads APP - fresh install - issue
After installing all additional applications to my account, and testing in offline mode (only admin can see) - clicking on Downloads opens a white screen with only the inscription Welcome All other APPs work correctly. In my test installation, I installed all the APPs with beta 1, and there all the APPs have no issues. On the live site earlier today, I also installed the available patch.

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
Use a test site upgraded to 5.0 and get familiar with the new platform. Create your new home page - or all the new blocks that will make up it, and a short CSS for it. In your 4.7.20 site, create a block category 5.0 and in this category create the same blocks that you created in the 5.0 platform - and simply copy/paste your codes. Also create a block 5css in which to store all the rules that you created in your test site. This will help you reduce stress after an upgrade - you will quickly create your new home page, because everything you are currently using will have to be forgotten. In fact, I tried it back with the first or second beta - I downloaded the 4.7.20 theme and installed it in 5.0 - what happened shocked and disappointed me... That's why I started building a new homepage. After my first upgrade with a failure on my pages and this topic here, I thought about the results I got and the advice I read here. And yes, then I restored with a backup 4.7.20 and started the changes in 4.7.20. As opentype advised - all pages created with HTML manually added code and database, should be converted to Builder pages. It turns out easy - You mark and delete such a page (the database is not lost) - Then you create a new page, but with Builder with the same name. You open this page for editing, and through the Block Manager select the Database block for adding. You place it in the page and with editing select your database (which was for this page). And you get the same working page again. You repeat this for all your pages created with HTML code. This way you will preserve all your pages during an upgrade. The next thing I did was remove all the unused blocks that I had created for the last 10 years (4.0 launched in early 2015). I also removed all themes - leaving only the IPS theme and my default theme. I uploaded the files for version 5.0 and started the upgrade. I only got a notification about the recommended PHP version and at that point I went to the server and switched to PHP 8.3. Then I continued with the upgrade. After the upgrade was complete, I logged into ACP and went into offline mode. I create a new theme - as a copy of the new IPS theme. I installed the blocks I had already created and added the prepared custom CSS . After checking the functionality of the other pages, and app, I found that the forum and clubs were transferred relatively well. But with Pages, I had a headache. On the advice of the IPS team, I should have reset all the templates from Pages. This is easy to do - open each template and use the Compare button - click on the arrows in the differences and change all the templates to default. For templates created by SuperGrid, you have an option to delete them - I removed all mine. Then open the databases for editing - and test with which template your page will function correctly - in my installation, only template 32 returned the pages to normal view. There were various problems with the others available to me. And yet you can expect surprises - after my pages were working correctly, I found that entries in a given category were not displayed - an empty field under the category title. The IPS team found that some templates were missing code - they added it and that made me breathe a sigh of relief... I started online with only 2 days of headaches. But it was worth it - it was like getting into a new car. It's been a many steps, but I hope I've been helpful. I wish you a successful upgrade.

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
My second attempt is already successful. After two days of "struggle" with outdated templates and mostly with the kind assistance of Matt and Esther E my live site came to life with version 5 online. My impressions are more than excellent (especially when everything works better than perfectly...and fast) Once again, thanks to the IPS team, and also to opentype for the perfect advice.

Invision Community 5.0.0 Released
I made all the pages Builder mode. I upgraded again to 5.0 Awesome experience - almost a heart attack situation with pages Now at least records are visible, but the CSS is disgusting In addition, it is full of system logs with errors... Probably later this evening I will return 4.7.20 again - apparently 5.0 does not work well for my live site. If you want - take a look for yourself, login details are up to date in my client area.☹️

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
I decided to follow the advice of opentype In a little while I will finish editing all my pages on the builder mode. After that I will make a second attempt to upgrade to 5.0 and report if there is a change. Please wait for your intervention.

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
When downloading and subsequently uploading to version 5, the categories and even the images I added in the description field of the categories are clearly visible on the page - they look exactly as they do in version 4.x. When upgrading to 5.0 - there is nothing on the pages - I only see them in the ACP and there is no way for them to appear in the front end. I.e. think about a patch with which records can also be included in downloading a database page. Apparently, a manual move will ensure normal functioning, but for now the conversion that, as was said, you are doing is incorrect and given that I cannot have all the records from my pages, an upgrade to 5.0 for me loses all meaning...

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
Downloading a page database from v.4.x and uploading to v.5.0 works perfectly, but as described without records. Is there an option to include records in this download?

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
I'm sure you convert this, but I'm also sure that after conversion, the pages don't function.

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
The same. Only for page manual HTML, in Manage block (v.4.x) have this block: When a database is created without a fixed page, it is possible with this block to select a database from a list and add it to a page. In the page builder, even in version 4.x, this block is not available, i.e. it is not possible to insert a database because there is no such block. Therefore, when updating, after the pages are converted, no content is visible. And in the page management, there is no way to find the necessary database. Here is the content in the Page editor in v.5

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
Yes, most of my pages are manual HTML. They were probably converted during the update and that broke the database connection. How can I convert them beforehand?

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
In fact, Supergrid template group in version 5.0 work correctly - here's an example from my test site. What strikes me about the Pages app from v.5.0 is that there is no "Content" area in the Pages settings with database - where in version 4.x the database ID is contained. In version 5, a database is created and a page name is specified - and it works correctly. Maybe the page loses connectivity to its database during the upgrade... It only exists in the list of pages with its database...

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
I tried this - I changed all available settings for the database, and for the page - no change occurred, including after each change I tried clearing the cache. Most of my pages are created with the Supergrid plugin, so I tried changing templates, but to no avail.

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
I can't show it to you in version 5.0 - because I restored 4.7.20. No, a page opens with a sidebar, but in the article field there is only a background, i.e. it seems like this page is empty.

Pages with database - after upgrade to 5.0 issues...
After the first attempt to upgrade from 4.7.20 to 5.0 on a live site, what I noticed: 1. The upgrade went smoothly and without any issues. 2. I created a new home page for which I had pre-prepared blocks - it works perfectly. 3. Reason for this topic - I have multiple pages with databases, some are public, others are specialized for team use only. None of these pages in version 5.0 are functional - they are not displayed in the front end. All categories and articles are available in ACP. For more than 3 hours I tried to get a working page from the ones created in version 4.x - without success. A newly created page with a database in version 5.0 works perfectly. Since my pages are important to me and my business - I used a backup and restored 4.7.20 so that my live site could function correctly. My question is: What pre-preparation of app pages in v4.7.20 should I do to have functionality for all my database pages in v5.0? Thanks.

Invision Community 5.0.0 Released
It is not a problem to delete them after the upgrade. The problems that make a hasty upgrade pointless, at least for me, are the malfunctioning of database pages - not a single page of mine is visualized in the front end. All articles are visible in ACP, but that's it. Whatever settings I tried - to no avail. A newly created database page is OK. Otherwise yes - the 4.7.20 -> 5.0 upgrade went smoothly and without any remarks. I spent 3 hours today trying to visualize pages - but no and no. For now I gave up and restored a backup to 4.7.20 Apparently I need to build my entire site on the test site like this, with all pages and blocks, before my next upgrade attempt. I had created blocks in 4.7.20, an exact copy of the ones I am testing with on the test site. After the upgrade I easily created the same home page. That is. In my opinion, a long preparation is required before an upgrade (otherwise it's a huge headache... and frustration).

[Beta 14.1] Old beta bug - when copying the theme - missing custom templates
I had reported this bug before I don't remember how many betas, but now I don't find it in the bug report area. This bug still exists - i.e. after copying a theme, the new theme is missing custom templates from the theme that was used as a source.
