Hm... I change in furl.json profile path to "real": "app=core&module=members&controller=profile&tab=node_gallery_gallery", and now default tab is albums but the tab head is not first If user has not albums, default tab is activity, that's ok

I dont know why this button named "activity" indeed. In russian translation from local distributor it named "User's content" - more logical, right? Even url is "/content"... And why their activity? Who is there? Maybe better his or her, or "user's ..."

And hide empty albums in category... Show it only in submit form. I use plugin, but it should be built-in.

I thinks list of fields is limited only by fantasy of author. But my opinion gallery must have it =) Like records in database.
