I need to move the topics of one forum to several other forums, according to the topic which is discussed. I found no easy way to do this (in the past, there were boxes you could check to move several topics).

So, I run a search on a key word (for instance "English") and then I move each topic, one after the other, to the other forum (for instance a forum called "Teaching English"). Then, I will do the same with "Maths", "sports", etc.

This is going to take ages because there are about 5000 topics to move...

Is there an easier way to achieve this ?

There is no easier way to do this from search (and also wasnt previously). You can do this from the forum, if you can locate them that way. Thats the way you can use checkboxes to move multiple items at a time
