Got a question that I hope is just a matter of me missing something in settings. We're trying to set up Profile Completion settings.

We have the "Required" box on for First Name, Last Name and Country fields in the profiles. However, when I try to set up the Profile Completion settings, it's not giving me an option to include any of those three fields. It has all other fields available but those. We need all members to be prompted on their next sign-in to have to fill out those three fields.

Are you setting these fields up in ACP -> Members -> Profiles -> Profile Fields?

Correct. The fields are already there:

And they're set as Required in their own settings:

What's odd is that those three fields won't appear as options for me in the Profile Completion fields.

We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.

Thanks so much! We just got our site totally updated onto IPS, so I'd forgotten to check the Access info. Should be all set to go now!

In order for these to be on profile completion, the member will need to be able to edit the value. You will want to edit your fields and scroll down to the "Permissions" headline and enable "Member can edit value?"

Otherwise, the member can't view the field and thus, you can't add it to profile completion.
