I am trying to upgrade my community to the latest 4x version but, for reasons I can't quite fathom, I am locked out, and apparently I've forgotten the answer that I gave to my verification question, which is where my nearest sibling lives. She has lived there for a long time, so I don't understand how this can be. The only thing I can think of is that somehow I didn't spell it correctly when I entered it the first time. I'll need to change that answer once I get back in.

When I do the Account Recovery, I get a message saying that an email has been sent to my email account so that I can reset, but that email never arrives. It's not in my inbox, my spam folders etc .... Nor is it in anywhere in my other email address.

I'm stumped.

What you can do is register a new account and make that an admin from the database. Then after you login with it you can reset the password and the other thing for your main admin account.

Last year on our Cloud, we sent out notices about a change in our email system which would require our clients to upgrade their communities or email would stop working. As you are rather outdated still, email will not work on your community. Due to this, I have upgraded your community for you. Please now try to gain access to your account by sending the reset email.
