So, I have been using the new tag system, and I do quite enjoy it. However, I have some feedback for improvements to the system.

I. Frontend Tag Editor.

Currently, to add or edit a tag, you need to go into the Admin CP and log in to deal with tags. I get that it is a closed-tag system, but it is also a headache to add a tag. Having some way to add a tag via the front end would be a huge quality-of-life improvement and also streamline having other approved users add tags as needed.

II. Tag Search Issues

There are actually two issues here.

The first issue is that when I search for a tag, as soon as the tag reaches a point where it is unfounded, the entire box closes. So, let's say that I am trying to add "Invision Community 5" as a tag, but the site only had "Invision Community" setup. As soon as I type the "5" the box will close or as soon as I let's say misspell "Invsion" the box will close. It seems much more intuitive to have an empty results field or something.

The second issue is that I cannot search for things in parentheses without including the parentheses. I might be looking at tags wrong, but this seems unreasonable.

III. Start the "Add Tag" feature in the Add Tag text box.

When I click on the "+" to add a tag, I feel the natural urge to start typing as soon as the tag box pops up. This is a fairly minor issue, but it continues to be strange to have to reclick the box to then start typing in the new tag.

I really wish you could always show the prefix option in certain forums with specific tags in the drop down.

Old VB style prefixes are a big part of my forum and having them curated for each forum makes it great for both users and readers as well as being simple to select.

I'd support this. I have not dealt with IC5 prefixes as they didn't seem to meet my needs, but the old VB style would be a great asset to help organize topics for users at a glance. I believe you can do it via IC5, but the "all-in" approach does not work very well in meeting user needs.
