Is it possible to set up Invision in a way that prices of products or downloads vary depending on the user group.

For example to download a specific file:

Guest: $15
Paying member: $ 10

or for a course (same principle)

Thats not a feature on the downloads application. On downloads, the user would set the price, and its just one price. Items added via commerce however, while you cannot set a specific price for each, you can use a discount system to achieve the same thing

Yes, you can actually sell downloads in Commerce. You set up a product in Commerce and then link the download as part of the file.
