What has to happen for two profile pictures to be displayed before the post?

So if several users have written in a post, I usually only see one profile picture, namely that of the person who started the post. Sometimes, if I have also written in the post, my profile picture also appears. But sometimes it doesn't.

I still don't understand the difference between when my profile picture is displayed and when it is not. I have the feeling that it only appears when I am mentioned?

In version 4, a star icon was displayed to indicate you had participated in a topic. This was replaced with the double avatar design, but the star is making a return in 5.0.2, alongside the double avatars (just to make it super dooper clear that you’ve participated) 😅

The star is good, so people can quickly identify it.
Then you have two visualisation. Personally, I might find it better if the star represents that I am participated, and the two profile pictures could represent the first and last poster. ??
