I run a forum called Startup Networks

and i've found the feature - Our Picks/ Social Media Promotion

 

I'm just wondering what this does? It sounds like to me, a user group can click "Promote" on a piece of content they think is good - and it will automatically share it on our social media?

But where do I put the account details? Like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram etc? Or have I got this completely wrong?

However, please bear in mind its only really useful at present for internal/my picks promotion, and not external for social media. The APIs have changed for these on the platforms side, so it mean we need to take a look at these.

Ahh ok no worries thank you - is this something actively being worked on, or more backburner? Sure loads of communities would love to be able to cross post on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin etc 🙂 Have you heard of any forums finding a way around it now? Like Zapier or anything?
