if i want to make a product that i have stock for but want people not being able to buy it how can i do this

There isnt really any way you would be able to do that, and still have it visible. If you want to remove it from visibility entirely of course, you can just deselect "show in store". But I dont think thats what you are asking here

yeah thats not what im looking for unfortunatly my webdeveloper is making a application for it however its not a easy thing to do on invision thought maybe you guys already had something like it

Unfortunately, there isn't really a way to have stock recorded and have it be visible in the store but not purchasable. It's really one or the other currently.
