Interferon Posted June 9 Posted June 9 (edited) After a long hiatus from using the Downloads app, we are delving back into it, this time using the web API to deliver content to our desktop application with one click. One thing that jumps out at me is the fact that there is no way to set a category as a "container". We don't want our top-most categories to contain any files directly. All files are stored in a sub-category one level down. Currently this looks awkward because if the user clicks on the top-level category it just says "No files in this category yet.". Showing files in all subcategories would be ideal. Here is an example: Category: https://polyhaven.com/models/decorative/containers Sub-category: https://polyhaven.com/models/decorative/containers/potted plants Edited June 9 by Interferon

Remove the permission to add files to this category. 8 minutes ago, Interferon said: Showing files in all subcategories would be ideal. Not perfect but a workaround: https://www.sosinvision.com.br/index.php?/file/214-display-files-from-subcategories/
