Two installations one licence same domain

Morning i am after a little advice so we run a site that we want a light side and a dark side installation but with the same user database but different forums if that makes sense is this possible to do please thank you in advance for any advice given

With one existing licence, you can have one live and one test installation of Invision Community.

What is the idea behind having two separate communities with one running in light mode, and the other in dark mode?

You can have a light and dark mode on the same instance through the use of themes. You can let users pick which version they want and even set a default version for users that are not logged in. 

If the only difference is just going to be light vs dark mode, you don’t need two separate installations.

No sorry i meant a light version of the content and a darker version of the content it is an adult site sorry i didnt explain that correctly

If its 2 actual sites, you will need 2 licenses in order to do this.
