Thomas P Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Hi mates, I am pretty sure I am blind here, but how to remove the default salutation when using the Bulk Email feature? Quote The default email template will contain 'Hi {member_name},' at the start of the email automatically. This will be shown on the preview. Thanks, Thomas
Solution teraßyte Posted January 29 Solution Posted January 29 You need to edit the email wrapper template and remove it from there:

Randy Calvert Posted January 29 Posted January 29 There is not a separate one for just bulk mails. So it’s that or nothing. teraßyte 1

That's a bummer, as it affects the automated mass emails to our +70K users and the very different use case of a human generated newsletter. So thanks. I wasn't blind, there is just no way 😞
teraßyte Posted January 30 Posted January 30 The only other "solution" is to make a modification that sends out bulk emails without that language string. I believe it's possible, but I haven't confirmed it. If you're interested, send me a PM and I can check the code if it's possible. Thomas P 1
