Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
senny Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Hi All, Is there an option to allow registered users to quote guests posts without need for moderation? Thanks
Marc Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Users will not need moderation for quoting a guest. Do you have any other kind of moderation set for standard users?
senny Posted May 23, 2023 Author Posted May 23, 2023 Standard Users do not have moderation enabled - when they write new posts or reply without quoting then their posts shows up immediately but when they quote guests post it goes to moderation queue. I would like to avoid moderation queue for registered and cannot find setting for that.
Jim M Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Do you have any Word Filters or Links & Email Addresses which you have setup to trigger moderation? This can be found in ACP -> System -> Posting. This would apply to all member groups who are not setup to bypass it.
Jim M Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Just now, senny said: Yes I have, but that's not a case. Please provide us an example URL of a post which was mod queue'd and we can review it.
senny Posted May 23, 2023 Author Posted May 23, 2023 For example: https://igrit.pl/forum/topic/4518-ziemniaki-wczesne-2023/?do=findComment&comment=68697
Jim M Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
Jim M Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 You have a third party plugin which interacts with posts. Could you please disable this then test again?
senny Posted May 29, 2023 Author Posted May 29, 2023 Disabled all plugins. Unfortunately did not help. Please advise.
Marc Posted May 30, 2023 Posted May 30, 2023 Before we are able to proceed, please update to the latest release of the platform, then test this again
