Posted April 14, 20232 yr When a record has future publish date zapier shouldn`t behave as if it is hidden or this is another condition ?
April 14, 20232 yr Community Expert Sorry, Im not sure I understand what question you are asking here. Zapier (or whatever you are using zapier to push to) would behave in whatever way you tell it to behave if the publish date is in the future
April 14, 20232 yr Author Lets say that we have a database which triggers zapier when a new record is visible only. When we add a record with future publish date , and this is published must trigger zapier or not ? What is the expected behaviour?
April 14, 20232 yr Community Expert Sorry, Im still not clear what the question is there. If you are picking up only items which are visible, they would not be picked up, as they are not yet published (so not visible)
April 14, 20232 yr Author If you are picking up only items which are visible, they would not be picked up, as they are not yet published (so not visible) We agree with that!! After the record published must trigger zapier or not ?
April 14, 20232 yr Community Expert No, as it would only trigger when a new record is posted and that record is visible.
April 15, 20232 yr Author Agree also with that!! When the record finally goes public, that should trigger or not?
April 17, 20232 yr Community Expert Agree also with that!! When the record finally goes public, that should trigger or not? Im not sure I understand there, as this was indeed my previous answer. It will not, as it hasnt just been posted
April 17, 20232 yr Community Expert Agree also with that!! When the record finally goes public, that should trigger or not? No. There is not a “is visible” trigger. I don’t think you can trigger a zap based on future dated content being posted. You can suggest this in the feedback forum. Edited April 17, 20232 yr by Randy Calvert
