Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted April 6, 20231 yr Hello, We noticed whenever you add an image to a topic, there isn’t a possibility to only have this as an attachment. (see video)https://www.dropbox.com/s/lcwbzj2480yq432/screen-20230406-144644.mp4?dl=0 Is this by design? Because to us it feels like a potential bug. Thanks in advance. Kind Regards, Thomas
April 6, 20231 yr Hi, This is by design and how it should be. You always will see an attached image as "image inside post" without any visual division known from ancient IPB 3.x. Note also there is a difference in an image position. When you upload an image as attachment and do nothing else the image is always at the bottom. You can see this if your post will contain some text before attaching. Then if you place a cursor in a different position (eg. at the beginning of your post above the potential text) and use the "Insert" option located on the image attachment then the image is placed in that exact position.
