Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Carole Asselin Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 A couple of members pointed out that the "Join date" on their profile is inaccurate. It seems like all the dates are pointing to when I installed the platform, in September, while those members had joined the site several years before. Is there a way to fix that? I am using SSO plugin to integrate with my WP installation. I am not sure if it is related or if something else should pull the data from WP to display accurate data on the members. Thanks.
Solution Makoto Posted April 1, 2023 Solution Posted April 1, 2023 You mean you want IPS to display the date members registered for your WordPress website, is that right? You'll likely need some custom code to do this if so. The join date is just based on when accounts were added to IPS. The SSO plugin could certainly modify the join date to reflect the date they registered on WordPress, but you'd need a developer to modify your SSO plugin to do this.
Carole Asselin Posted April 1, 2023 Author Posted April 1, 2023 Oh. I see. Since it did pull all the previous information from the bbpress forum, I assumed it would also pull that "correct" information on the members as well.

Can it pull the data from ALL the members instead of going manually one by one? I have had my site for over 10 years so that would be impossible to update manually.
