"corrupted tar file" - can't install plugin

Hello,

I'm trying to install two plugins but I can't due errors in ACP.

When I look into logs I'm seeing this:

phar error: "/tmp/IPSMPRqKDXA.tar" is a corrupted tar file (truncated)

Anyone know what to do?

What application are you attempting to install? Does this happen on all?

Looking at the release you're on is very old, this likely may be related to that. I would suggest upgrading ASAP.

As I wrote here:

 I can't upgrade my forum. And I'm using (and I need) plugins which has not support version above 4.5.

 

Is it possible to run these two plugins on my forum?

I would suggest revisiting the topic there with upgrade as that is not a permanent error which would prevent you. It is something we can work with you to help solve.
