Canis Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 An inline comment will still show that the title has been edited and by which user.
Jim M Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 How are you editing the title? Editing the first post or click/hold on the topic title?
Jim M Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Are you seeing this as a staff member or as a regular user? You will still be able to see the edit as a staff member as the message states. Randy Calvert 1
Canis Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 (edited) It seems to be visible for all groups, even guests. Edited January 30, 2023 by Canis
Jim M Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Would recommend disabling all third party applications/plugins and switch to an unmodified theme then try again. Please also ensure that you have not provided the edit log to everyone as that also would enable this.
SeNioR- Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 (edited) The author probably means this: Edited January 30, 2023 by SeNioR-
Solution Randy Calvert Posted January 30, 2023 Solution Posted January 30, 2023 Do you allow members to see Inline Moderation Events? This is under the Content tab when editing a member group. Make sure this is turned off if you don't want them to see the below. 35 minutes ago, SeNioR- said: Edited 24 minutes ago by SeNioR-
Canis Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 Many thanks, that solved it. I wasn't aware of this setting and it's enabled by default. Randy Calvert 1
