Referring to a past post without quoting?

I will soon hold a Bootcamp in the forum where I will add some daily feedback on the projects posted in the thread. HERE is how I would do it in the past, when using bbpress.

The participants love to know what each comment refers to, but I am not sure quoting (to include the project) would make sense as it would be a super long post, every day. Is there a "simple" way to refer to a post so that the readers could know what I am referring to?

Not by default, no. A possible option is to:

  1. Adding the username in the editor.
  2. Click the 3 dots menu top-right of each post.
  3. Click the Share menu item.
  4. Copy/paste the link in the editor from the popup that appears and/or manually add the post ID from the share link itself.

So yeah, not exactly the most user-friendly option.

The only other solution would be a custom modification.
